This are some interesting things you can do on (or with) Facebook; inclusive of tricks that are not documented or unknown to many, as well as tips to stay connected better with your friends. Without further ado, here’s Facebook Tips/Tricks You Might Not Know. If you have interesting tips/tricks related to Facebook, please feel free to share in the comment box below.
1. Rotate text and turn your status update upside down
If you’ve been on Facebook long enough, you’ve probably noticed a few people posting upside down status updates. They sure do think they’re clever don’t they?! No need to turn your screen to read text upside down. Want to learn how to rotate a piece of text, turn the letters upside down and flip your font around? Then read on…
Yes, you too can be the envy of all of your friends and family by posting your updates so that people have to look silly by tilting their heads upside down so they can read it. Most of the people you've seen doing this have likely installed a Facebook app just to do so. However, I dislike installing apps because you always have to provide permissions to those applications to access your profile. A better approach is to use the free online application at FlipText to generate your upside down status update.

Just go to bubbleball Text, enter your text and copy the bubbled letters one from the bubbled text column and paste it in your status update or chats. You can also write inverted mirror like text by un-checking the upside down effect.

3. Pirate Language trick
To enable Pirate Language in Facebook, simply login to your Facebook account, click on the down arrow at the right of the top navigation bar, click on Account Settings, click on Edit at the right of the Language option, and in the Primary Language dropdown menu, select English(Pirate) located somewhere near the bottom and be the captain of your Pirate Ship.

Similarly, you can also turn Facebook upside down by selecting English(Upside Down) from the Languages dropdown. This will flip the entire Facebook interface but your status updates would still be "normal".

Here comes the most important part, are you ready? The app ID is what you will need in order to post statuses after you save your application copy this and add it to the end of this url:
http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&api_key=
After the “=” sign is where you put your app id or api key, so in this case ours would look like:
http://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?preview=true&api_key=255745107833030
Copy the URL that you created into the address bar in your browser you will now get a window that look like this.
